So, I was trying to win a contest and I exceeded my daily post limit…again. So…yeah, I guess I’ll have to wait until the limit is gone…
You find yourself standing in an elevator one day- the ground on which you stood shaking, rumbling. You look around, curious to see where you were- where you could possibly be and it is a room you see, which might have been beautiful once upon a time..; it was a wreck now though- rocks had caved in from the walls, the chairs and tables toppled and books strewn about from their respective shelves as broken glass littered the floor, sparkling- royal blue as the rest of the room is- or was. The midnight clock looms before and over you; its hands seem forever stuck where it was- broken, never to move again.
The elevator continues to move upwards as you wonder, wandering around in your thoughts- in your mind- in your wonderland. Maybe even, in the sea of your soul.
Finally, it comes to a stop and as it opens stepping out, you notice something- not the moon bloody red and huge or the giant golden doors that stood several feet in height but a young man, blue hair shining in the moonlight, eyes closed as if listening to an endless song. He seems almost ethereal as he stood in the middle of it all and you figured that this man before you may be a shadow- a memory as he looks like he is anything /but there.
"Where am I?"
Silence meets the query and it drags painfully long too as you both stood, across from one another. Maybe, he hadn't heard-
"My conclusion."
You stared, surprised that he had answered.
What did that even mean?
You decide to ask a different question-one that nagged you from the very moment you laid eyes on the teen.
"Who are you then?"
And this time, he answers almost immediately, looking at you finally- for the first time. His gray eyes remind you of the moon on a cloudless night. Brilliant and shining. Most importantly, it took your very breath away.
"Minato Arisato."
And nothing more.
